A new subsidiary of CERMI EPE (Public Entity) has been set up in the form of a public limited company named “Cabo Verde Competence Center 3C, SA”, abbreviated as “CDC 3C, SA”. The main purpose of the Company is to provide specialized services in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency and industrial maintenance, namely:

- Technical training and pedagogy
- Training in energy efficiency and renewable energy
- Research and development
- Innovation, incubation and entrepreneurship
- Accreditation and certification of installations, products, systems, materials and professionals
- Provision of metrology services
