The opening ceremony of the second round of train-the-trainer programs took place today, March 11, attended by CERMI's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Luís Teixeira, alongside fellow members of the Board, Representative for LuxDev, François Bary, and Project Coordinator, Jansenio Delgado.
The trainees have come from various ECOWAS countries (including English-speaking Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Liberia, and Lusophone countries Cabo Verde and Guinea Bissau), and will be trained in English in Solar Photovoltaic Technology over a period of two weeks.
Before starting the training session today, participants went on a guided tour to see the Center's facilities. This training is being carried out within the framework of the “CERMI Regional Anchor strengthening Project”, funded by the European Union.
